Job Title: Architectural Reviewer

Location: Al-Ahsa, Eastern, Saudi Arabia

Type: Full-time

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Architectural Drawing Analysis:

Ensure all drawings comply with technical standards and both local and international regulatory requirements.

  • Integration with Other Systems:

Review designs to ensure coordination with structural, electrical, and mechanical systems, and verify that there are no conflicts.

  • Compliance with Local Laws and Regulations:

Ensure that designs adhere to design guidelines, local building codes, and urban planning requirements.

  • Accuracy in Design Implementation:

Oversee the application of design documents during execution phases to ensure accurate implementation according to drawings and specifications.

  • Aesthetic Review:

Ensure that the design reflects the architectural and cultural identity of the Al-Ahsa region.

  • Community Impact Assessment:

Evaluate how the design affects the surrounding environment and local community, ensuring it contributes positively to the quality of life for local residents.

  • Client and Stakeholder Collaboration:

Review designs in line with the requirements and expectations of the client or owning entity, while maintaining the overall project vision.

  • Detailed Reporting:

Provide accurate reports on review outcomes, including recommendations for improvements or necessary modifications.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in design review and building permit procedures.
  • Strong familiarity with the Saudi Building Code and Al-Ahsa Municipality's planning and regulatory frameworks.
  • High attention to architectural detail and the ability to detect inconsistencies and design conflicts.
  • Proficiency in design and review software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
