Job Purpose

The Parts Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the parts department to ensure efficient inventory management, timely supply of automotive parts, and excellent customer service. This role involves supervising the parts team, coordinating with the workshop and service departments, and ensuring compliance with company and manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the parts department team, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure efficient workflow in receiving, storing, issuing, and returning automotive parts.
  • Monitor stock levels and manage inventory control to prevent shortages or overstock.
  • Coordinate with service and workshop teams to ensure timely parts availability for repair orders.
  • Handle customer inquiries, quotations, and orders professionally.
  • Review and approve purchase requests, ensuring cost-effectiveness and accuracy.
  • Analyze parts usage and sales data to forecast demand and support reordering decisions.
  • Implement manufacturer programs, pricing updates, and promotional activities.
  • Ensure all operations comply with safety, quality, and company standards.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory, sales, and departmental performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Parts Supervisor, Senior Parts Advisor, or similar role in the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts, catalog systems, and inventory management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory software, ERP systems, and MS Office applications.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Diploma or Degree in Automotive Technology, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage in GCC markets.
