We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Electrical Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As an Electrical Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of electrical systems within our construction projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of electrical integrity and safety across various sites.

• Conduct thorough inspections of electrical installations, materials, and equipment to ensure adherence to contract specifications, codes, and safety standards.
• Review and assess contractor shop drawings and submittals for compliance with project specifications and design intent.
• Perform comprehensive tests on electrical systems, including grounding, insulation resistance, and continuity tests.
• Monitor the installation of wiring, conduits, panels, lighting, and power systems to confirm proper execution.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and energization of electrical systems.
• Coordinate with other inspectors and disciplines to resolve electrical system integration issues.
• Maintain detailed inspection reports, daily logs, and records of test results.
• Identify and report potential hazards, design deviations, or work delays to the project management team.
• Verify contractor work progress and milestone completion according to the approved schedule.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and immediately notify relevant parties of any life-threatening safety conditions.
• Stay updated on local and international electrical codes and standards, applying this knowledge to inspection processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
• Experience in reviewing contractor shop drawings and submittals
• OSHA 10-hour training certification
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with construction project management processes
• Knowledge of local and international electrical codes and standards
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work in various construction environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• 15 years of experience in construction inspection, particularly in electrical systems
• Experience working in and around historic properties
• Familiarity with GSA managed construction projects and GSA Project Management Systems
• Additional certifications related to electrical inspection or safety
