Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in providing technical assistance, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and maintaining end-user systems to ensure smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second-level support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.).
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows/macOS) and standard business applications.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, VPN access, and user account problems.
  • Support users with Microsoft 365, email configurations, and remote desktop access.
  • Perform regular system updates, antivirus checks, and data backups.
  • Manage IT assets and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement policies and ensure data security compliance.
  • Respond promptly to IT support requests, ensuring minimal downtime.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in desktop or technical support roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and basic networking.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with endpoint security tools and remote management software.
  • Understanding of basic server and network configurations.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or equivalent are an advantage.
