Job Description: E-commerce Specialist
Role Summary
Responsible for managing, optimizing, and driving sales across all online e-commerce marketplace channels including our website and external platforms. This role focuses on enhancing product visibility, tracking performance, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing best practices to maximize sales, conversion, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Management
- Manage daily operations across online marketplace channels, including product listings, pricing, inventory accuracy, and promotional activities.
- Ensure listings are optimized and comply with platform policies.
- Coordinate with logistics for inventory readiness and accurate order fulfillment.
Sales Performance & Analysis
- Monitor and report e-commerce KPIs (sales, traffic, conversion rates).
- Analyze sales trends, product performance, and customer behavior.
- Use tools like A/B testing and competitor analysis to improve listing outcomes.
Product & Market Development
- Identify and recommend new products based on trends and sales data.
- Collaborate with marketing and procurement for product planning and launches.
- Maintain accurate and engaging catalog listings across all platforms.
Sales Growth & Campaign Execution
- Plan and execute sales campaigns, bundles, and promotions.
- Recommend marketplace-specific tactics to improve performance.
- Propose and test new growth opportunities (e.g., new platforms or features).
Cross-Team Coordination
- Work closely with marketing, warehouse, support, and sales teams.
- Troubleshoot listing issues, resolve customer concerns affecting performance.
- Share actionable insights with management for continuous improvement.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly and quarterly sales growth
- Listing conversion rate and click-through rate
- ROI from promotions and campaigns
- Accuracy of listings and fulfillment
- Stock availability and sell-through rate
- Positive customer reviews and rating trends
Requirements
Education & Background
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience managing e-commerce operations or digital sales channels.
- Experience with major platforms (e.g., Amazon Seller, Noon, Trendyol, Shopify or Magento).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce tools, SEO for marketplaces, and analytics dashboards.
- Hands-on skills in Excel, Google Sheets, and platform-specific tools.
- Ability to analyze data, create reports, and act on insights.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and goal-driven.
- Strong communication and coordination skills across departments.
Preferred
- Experience with paid advertising on e-commerce platforms (PPC, Sponsored Ads).
- Knowledge of Arabic and English for platform management and communication.
- Familiarity with pricing strategy, margin tracking, and online customer behavior.
- Knowledge of the computer and gaming hardware industry (products, trends, target audience).
