Accreditation and Clinical Quality Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs a variety of complex administrative and professional assistance work in planning, coordinating and managing the maintenance and adherence to the Hospital's accreditation.
- Organize, prioritize, and assign tasks to other Department members.
- Enforce work deadlines as they apply to accreditation requirements.
- Responsible for maintaining all files and data entry for compliance with the accreditation process.
- Provides advice, support and assistance by interpreting policies and procedures.
- Assists Command Staff with writes and/or reviews on all new and revised policies to ensure compliance with Accreditation standards and best practices.
- Keeps informed about changes in Accreditation bodies' standards and current laws. Recommends policy adjustments as needed.
- Directs on-site inspection of compliance with Standards.
- Ensures all annual and/or time sensitive reviews, reports, audits and inventories are completed as required by Accreditation Bodies.
- Prepares and submits Quarterly reports to Chief of Quality and Patient Safety
- Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/ her knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Enhance the concept of patient centered care among healthcare givers in the hospital.
- Assists in Mortality and Morbidity review and makes recommendation as required.
- Provide personalized coordinated care, and support for patients and families.
- Treat people with dignity, compassion and respect.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's Degree in healthcare management or a related field of study Fluency in English is essential.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to work independently and facilitate team work within the department and with others in the hospital.
SPECIALIZED SKILLS:
- Ability to establish positive working relationships at all levels within the department and the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact with patients, physicians and with other healthcare professionals.

- Knowledge of Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organization (JCIA) CBAHI standards, Planetree standards.
