Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia

About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified Senior Accountant with solid experience in the real estate sector, particularly in off-plan projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of off-plan project accounting and be capable of managing all related financial activities with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Record, review, and post daily financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Prepare and reconcile bank accounts, particularly for off-plan sales and project accounts.

·
Maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure proper allocation of revenues and expenses.

·
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

·
Monitor and analyze sales, collections, and customer account balances.

·
Manage and follow up on customer payments and collection schedules.

·
Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.

·
Coordinate and support external and internal audits, ensuring timely submission of required documentation.

·
Review and improve accounting processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency and compliance.

·
Collaborate with project, sales, and finance teams to ensure accurate financial tracking of off-plan projects.

·
Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations, VAT, and other statutory requirements.

·
Handle ad-hoc financial analyses and reporting tasks as assigned by management.

Skills Required:

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

·
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial reporting tools.

·
High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills.

·
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

·
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·
Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).

Qualifications:

·
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

·
Minimum of 4 years of experience in the real estate sector, specifically in off-plan projects.

·
Relevant certifications or completion of training courses related to off-plan project accounting are preferred.
