1/ Examines all credit demands originating through The Hotel's Departments for Companies, Travel Agents and Individuals.

2/ Conducts credit investigations to determine customer's worthiness and ability to pay in order to justify extension of Credit Limits.

3/ Reviews all accounts listed in the "high balance report" on daily basis and makes the necessary follow ups with the guest to secure additional credit information or obtain immediate settlement.

4/ Reviews daily The Arrival List and insures that granted credit facilities are properly documented.

5/ Approves all accounts transferred to City Ledger.

6/ Ensures that credit cards limit authorization codes are obtained whenever needed.

7/ Authorizes payments by individual cheques after ascertaining that The Bank has funds available to cover its value.

8/ Follows up collections of accounts receivable taking all necessary actions to secure timely payment emphasizing on over due amounts.

9/ Maintains a current file on returned cheques and prepares a monthly report as well as reconciliation of the file.

10/ Forwards promptly accounts considered doubtful to specialized collection agents or lawyers.

11/ Deals with complaints of wrong charges and submits rebates when necessary.

12/ Approves all rebates done in City Ledger with exception of officer accounts.

13/ Signs all outgoing invoices from City Ledger after ascertaining that all documents are properly attached and invoices correct.

14/ Prepares The monthly Credit meeting by providing the agenda, summary of accounts and additional information if needed.

15/ Maintains a black list of customers for future reference and tries to establish a regional black list with other Hotels in the region, under the supervision of The Regional Credit Manager.

16/ Prepares the collection activities schedules and follows up with the Regional Credit Manager.

17/ Proposes and recommends write off accounts form when needed.

18/ Proposes, suggests new polices and procedures improvements.

19/ Maintains records of collection activities for each open account in City Ledger.

20/ Performs any other duties as required.
