Data Protection Senior Manager

Position Purpose:
Establish and lead Misk Foundation's data protection and privacy framework, ensuring compliance with PDPL and international privacy standards such as GDPR, and safeguarding sensitive and personal data of all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and enforce data protection and privacy policies and controls.
- Ensure compliance with PDPL, GDPR, and other relevant privacy regulations.
- Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) for high-risk data processing activities.
- Monitor and audit data processing activities to ensure secure and lawful handling.
- Lead incident response for data breaches, including regulatory notifications and stakeholder communications.
- Deliver staff training and awareness programs on data protection and privacy.
- Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities and data subjects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in data protection, privacy compliance, or related roles, including at least 4 years in leadership positions.
- Strong knowledge of PDPL, GDPR, and international privacy standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
