  • This role is for part time SCADA/Automation Sales Engineer. However, Candidate is expected to lead projects and will be well-rewarded
  • We are approved by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources among a limited number of companies to provide our services to the industrial sector
  • Candidate must be familiar with IIoT and SCADA systems, including -but not limited to-: Ignition, AVEVA, ThingWorx
  • Candidate must be fully aware of new technologies especially regarding SCADA/MES/ERP systems
  • Candidate will lead the sales and engineering functions, and is expected to have connections within Saudi Arabia that will help him land his first project
  • Candidate is welcome to work remotely as a sales engineer before landing his first project, however, once a project is landed, candidate is expected to work full time in Saudi Arabia and to work in the field.
  • Compensation will be 100% dependent on performance, and may reach up to 25k SAR/month given certain targets

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace across the industry, including, but not limited to:
    o Customers' organizations, decision influencers, future plans & projects
    o Competitor's situation, products, offerings
    o Suppliers' situation, products, offerings
    o General technical developments in the company's domain, segments, and verticals within the region, and Keep '
    updated on automation and instruments market business and product trends

  • Identify new business opportunities to grow in the markets and develop "go to market" strategies to drive business to the end customer.
  • Perform customer site surveys and identify potential up-coming opportunities.
  • Maintain relationships with customers to ensure highest satisfaction levels and future business.
  • Act as a consultant to multiple levels of the customer's organization by understanding their challenges and recommending solutions/services to ensure their systems perform as required.
  • Build strategic relationships with suppliers, and ensure receiving long-term competitive prices from them.
  • Prepare estimates and collaborate with internal proposal team to develop value-based proposals and presentations for customers
  • Co-ordinate with project team, review contracts, ensure smooth handover, attend project kick-off meetings and support in collection of receivable
  • Develop and maintain a qualified funnel of opportunities, achieve new order/booking and profit goals
  • Ensure strict compliance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Report to Sales Manager / Dept. Manager
Desired Candidate Profile

Candidate is expected to have:

  • +3 years of experience as sales engineer
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Ignition Gold Certificate

Candidate will be tested with a compensation of SR 3,000/month, due when the first project is landed.
