Job Description :

Subject matter expert in the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Project Costing, Project Billing, and Project Accounting modules. This role involves leading the implementation, configuration, and support of these modules, ensuring alignment with business processes and best practices. The consultant will work closely with business users and technical teams to translate business requirements into effective Oracle EBS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, support, and manage Oracle EBS Project Costing, Billing, and Project Accounting modules.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders (Finance, Project Management Office, etc.), design functional solutions, perform gap analysis, and document business processes using methodologies like Oracle AIM standards
  • Configure the Oracle Projects module components, including work breakdown structures (WBS), task management, project hierarchies, revenue recognition, and billing processes.
  • Ensure seamless integration of the Projects modules with other Oracle EBS modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Procurement, and Human Capital Management (HCM)/Oracle Time & Labor (OTL).
  • Develop functional specifications (MD50s/MD70s) for custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements, collaborating effectively with technical teams for delivery.
  • In-depth knowledge of project accounting principles and related business processes. Proficiency in SQL/PLSQL for data analysis and troubleshooting is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication (verbal and written) skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
