Title: Travel Consultant

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Travel Consultant to join our team to help us create and organize trips for our clients. You will be required to interact with our clients and guide them toward picking the best holiday packages in to suit all their requirements. An outstanding travel consultant will monitor and tend to all queries within short turnaround times.

Responsibilities


• Organize end to end travel itinerary (Air ticket, hotel bookings, visa process & car rental etc).


• Develops tour itineraries and coordinates logistics for local and international travelers, makes bookings and coordinates with hotels, tour guides, transport providers.


• Handle unforeseen problems and complaints and determine eligibility for refunds


• Create and update electronic records of clients


• Maintain relationships with key persons


• Reach the sales and revenue targets

Requirements


• Prior Experience in an airline or an IATA approved travel agency


• Prior Experience in working or selling tour packages


• Excellence command on computer skills (MS Office & Web-based applications)


• Expert in GDS (Preferably Amadeus) and B2B supplier systems.


• Proficiency in English & Arabic.


• Outstanding sales skills and customer-oriented approach


• Demonstrable ability to handle crisis


• Demonstrable ability towards commitment and responsibility

• Cooperative team worker who can work under pressure, whilst maintaining good questioning, listening and up-selling skills
