Field Sales Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
Presales activities (Key)
- Answering RFx from the customer from the region of Saudi Arabia and extended.
- Direct engagement with sales account for any opportunities in the region.
- Solution design and solution presentation.
- Product presentation to the customer.
- Preparation of technical proposal
- Addressing compliance statement.
- Preparation of the BoM and the Draft commercial proposal.
Business Development (Key)
- Be a partner to the sales organization and look for additional opportunities.
- Understand the customer and pitch solutions from the entire Ribbon portfolio.
Product Related Activities
- Understand the entire product portfolio of Ribbon.
- Provide inputs to the product management regarding customer in order to fine tune the RM.
- Develop business cases for the product with respect to the region.
Key Skills required
- Understanding of the Optical Networking technology (DWDM/OTN)
- Understanding of IP Technology. (MPLS, Routing protocols)
- Experience with IP & Optical Network customers in the region.
- Operational knowledge of the Ribbon Optical product would be an added benefit.
- Knowledge of optical network planner for planning of DWDM and OTN.
- Understanding of SIP and Voip Technologies (This will be an additional advantage)
- Fluent communication skills in English. (Knowing Arabic would also benefit)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Computer Science/Telecommunications with at least 7+ years of experience in the telecom domain in the field of planning, implementation and operations.
- Optional Business management degree.
