Director, Commercial Strategy & Performance – Arabsat

Arabsat is seeking a highly strategic and performance-driven leader to head our
Commercial Strategy & Performance
function. The Director will shape and execute the commercial strategy across sales performance, business intelligence, pre-sales enablement, and customer experience—ensuring measurable growth and excellence across all commercial channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead Arabsat's commercial strategy in alignment with corporate goals.
  • Oversee sales performance management, forecasting accuracy, KPIs, and pipeline health.
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team (Sales Support, Pre-Sales, Customer Experience, Performance).
  • Drive sales enablement tools, dashboards, analytics, and decision-support insights.

  • Enhance customer experience through CSAT, NPS,

  • and retention initiatives.

  • Support business development strategies, partnerships, and new market opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Product, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Represent Arabsat in industry forums and strategic engagements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Telecom, or related field;
    MBA preferred
    .
  • 15+ years
    in commercial strategy, sales performance, or telecom/satellite/ICT roles.
  • 7–10 years
    in leadership roles managing multi-function teams.
  • Expertise in commercial performance management, forecasting, BI, and customer experience.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
