We help public and private organisations align strategy, operations, data, and technology through the implementation of structured architecture practices, governance models, and modern EA tooling (Alfabet, ARIS, Bizzdesign, and others).

Our team in Riyadh is expanding, and we are looking for a talented Enterprise Architect to join our on-site EA team supporting one of our strategic engagements with a leading insurance organisation in Saudi Arabia. Our Riyadh team delivers on-site EA repository services (Alfabet/ARIS), data modelling and governance for a leading insurer.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role (Riyadh, KSA).

This role focuses on EA repository management (Alfabet & ARIS), enterprise data modelling (including ER modelling), and process & capability modelling (BPMN, ArchiMate). The emphasis is on hands-on modelling, data quality, dashboards/viewpoints, and keeping the repository current across business, application, data, technology, integration and security.

The role requires close collaboration with senior architects, business stakeholders, and project teams to maintain high-quality architectural artefacts and ensure alignment with enterprise objectives.

Key Responsibilities - EA Repository, Data & Process Modelling

• Maintain the EA repository (Alfabet & ARIS) across business, application, data, technology, security and integration domains, keeping models current and consistent.
• Develop ER models (conceptual, logical, physical), data dictionaries and lineage/metadata; maintain application portfolio (inventory, lifecycle, dependencies).
• Model processes and capabilities in ARIS using BPMN; produce capability/solution viewpoints in ArchiMate; record Architecture Decisions in Alfabet.
• Evolve the meta-model and repository structure; define naming/standards and enforce modelling conventions and guardrails.
• Build dashboards, viewpoints and Balanced Scorecards in Alfabet for stakeholders; publish regular status and data-quality reports.
• Conduct proactive data-quality assessments; create and execute remediation plans to ensure completeness, accuracy and freshness of repository content.
• Document integration architecture and the API catalog; maintain reference, domain and project architectures (current/target/transition states).
• Capture EA demands and maintain portfolios of change, ensuring traceability from strategy to initiatives and alignment with governance.
• Administer the EA Confluence portal (policies, principles, standards, review boards, minutes), ensuring accessibility, version control and proper taxonomy.
• Collaborate with enterprise/solution architects and project teams to ensure project designs align with EA standards and repository content.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
• TOGAF certification required.
• Certified in architecture modelling languages (UML, ArchiMate, BPMN).
• Tool experience in Alfabet, ARIS, and/or Bizzdesign.
• 5+ years in one or more architecture domains (business architecture, solution architecture).
• 2+ years experience in EA tooling and modelling languages (UML, ArchiMate, BPMN).

Skills & Competencies

• Enterprise Architecture and Solution Architecture expertise.
• Hands-on experience with EA tools (Alfabet and ARIS essential).
• Strong understanding of EA governance, repository management, and data quality principles.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
