Job Title:

Senior Estimation Engineer

Experience: Minimum 10 years

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Estimation Engineer with a strong background in contracting projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in cost estimation for civil, architectural, and MEP works, and will play a critical role in preparing competitive bids, analyzing project requirements, and supporting the tendering process from inception to submission.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.

Develop detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost breakdowns for all project disciplines.

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to gather relevant data for pricing and estimation.

Evaluate and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure cost competitiveness.

Conduct cost analysis, risk assessments, and value engineering studies.

Participate in tender meetings, clarifications, and post-tender reviews.

Maintain and update the company's database for material prices, subcontractor rates, and estimation records.

Support the management team in project budgeting and cost control activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

Minimum of 10 years of experience in cost estimation within reputable contracting companies.

Comprehensive knowledge of MEP, civil, and architectural works.

Proficient in estimation software such as Candy, CostX, or MS Excel.

Strong understanding of construction methods, market rates, and technical standards.

Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Skills and Additional Requirements:

Proficiency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.

Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia is mandatory.

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
