Qiddiya Investment Company is searching for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Manager – Readiness & Handover (Roads) to lead the planning and execution of readiness activities for our roads projects. As part of our commitment to transforming the transportation landscape, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all road infrastructures are ready for operational use. This position involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to guarantee seamless transitions from construction to operational phases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive readiness strategies for road projects, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya's overall operational and strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate with engineering, construction, and procurement teams to identify and rectify any operational gaps prior to project handover.
  • Oversee the readiness evaluation process, performing detailed assessments and ensuring compliance with established standards and regulations.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and handover processes between project teams and operational teams, ensuring all operational staff are adequately equipped for successful delivery.
  • Manage the development of training materials and conduct training sessions for operational staff related to the new road systems and assets.
  • Establish performance metrics for readiness assessments and post-handover evaluations to monitor the success and operational effectiveness of the roads.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to report on readiness progress and incorporate feedback into continuous improvement processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in project management with a focus on infrastructure and roads construction/operations.
  • Proven experience in managing readiness and handover processes for large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and roadway systems.
  • Effective leadership skills with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on detail.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex information in clear, concise terms to diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with Saudi regulations and best practices in road construction and operations is highly advantageous.
