Role Purpose

The Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for managing and controlling the end-to-end B2B order fulfillment and service delivery process, ensuring accurate order capture, smooth provisioning, timely activation, and high service quality for enterprise and strategic customers. The role acts as the operational bridge between Sales, Presales, Service Delivery, NOC, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

Order & Delivery Management

  • Manage B2B orders from contract signature through provisioning and service activation.
  • Validate order completeness (commercial, technical, contractual, and financial).
  • Ensure correct configuration of services in CRM, billing, and provisioning systems.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with Sales, Presales, NOC, Field Operations, and Vendors / OLO to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Track delivery milestones and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and delays.
  • Facilitate handover between Sales and Operations.

Customer Communication

  • Act as the single operational point of contact for customers during the delivery phase.
  • Provide regular status updates, timelines, and issue notifications.
  • Manage customer expectations and escalations during delivery.

Process Governance & Quality

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, SLAs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify process gaps, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support audits, reporting, and management reviews.

Reporting & Performance

  • Track and report delivery KPIs (cycle time, backlog, fallouts, SLA compliance).
  • Maintain dashboards and management reports for leadership.
  • Support forecasting, capacity planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in telecom operations, service delivery, or sales operations.
  • ITIL or Lean / Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of telecom B2B services (DIA, MPLS, SIP, SD-WAN, cloud connectivity).
