Role Description

This is a full-time country wide on the road remote role for a Field Service Technician. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications and data network equipment. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, conducting tests and inspections, maintaining accurate records, and providing customer support. The technician will also train customers on the proper use of equipment and ensure all work meets regulatory and company standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications and data network equipment
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Skills in conducting tests and inspections of equipment
  • Ability to provide customer support and training
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Remote working skills and the ability to work independently
  • Experience with test equipment from Sumitumo, DeviserTek, fluke, Viavi is a plus

  • Relevant certifications in the telecommunications field are preferred
