Working Conditions

  • 10 hours/day, 6 days/week.

Role Overview

The Project Manager/Coordinator will oversee the design review and site supervision of an Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant (IWWTP) with a capacity of 17,000 m³/day, including 12,000 m³/day water reuse and demineralization and 7,000 m³/day brine treatment.

Acting on behalf of the Owner's Engineer (consultant), the role involves managing a site team of 15 and ensuring EPC contractor activities align with project milestones, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate design review and site supervision teams.
  • Monitor EPC contractor progress, design submittals, and schedule compliance.
  • Oversee construction activities, inspections, testing, and commissioning.
  • Review engineering documentation and ensure timely release of design deliverables.
  • Manage project controls: cost, schedule, variations, and claims.
  • Liaise with the SPV, EPC contractors, and vendors on project matters.
  • Supervise plant startup, performance testing, and warranty period activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related).
  • 15+ years of experience in EPC project management (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Wastewater sectors).
  • 10 years of construction and site supervision experience.
  • 7+ years in a management role overseeing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proven knowledge of ASME, API, ASTM, ASHRAE codes and FIDIC/NEC contracts.
  • Strong familiarity with KSA standards, market, and regulations.
  • Experience in design review, FEED, tendering, and vendor management.
