Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Jeddah for a Head Chef Pastry. The Head Chef Pastry will be responsible for overseeing daily baking and food preparation activities, creating and experimenting with new pastry recipes, ensuring the quality and consistency of baked goods, and managing the bakery team. The role also includes maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, ordering supplies, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Availability to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily baking and pastry preparation activities.
  • Develop, test, and refine new recipes and seasonal collections.
  • Maintain the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Manage and train the bakery team to ensure efficiency and consistency.
  • Oversee kitchen cleanliness, food safety, and HACCP compliance.
  • Coordinate ordering of raw materials and monitor stock levels.
  • Collaborate with management on menu updates and product innovation.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Food Preparation and Cooking skills.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar senior pastry or head chef role.
  • Strong creative and innovative abilities in pastry design.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Previous experience in a similar role in the bakery industry.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Passionate, reliable, and ready to take ownership of the kitchen operation.
  • Portfolio showcasing creative, high-standard pastry work is preferred.
