Job Objective:

To lead and manage the end-to-end bidding lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and commercially competitive proposals aligned with Miahona's strategic objectives. The Manager is responsible for coordinating internal workstreams and external partners, while ensuring responsiveness to RFP/RFQ requirements and maximizing win rates across local and international opportunities. Key Responsibilities:


•

Lead the planning, development, and delivery of complex bids and proposals in partnership with internal departments (technical, finance, legal).


•

Oversee the creation of compliant, compelling, and customer-focused technical and commercial documentation.


•

Manage stakeholder communication with consortium partners, contractors, and advisors to align deliverables and timelines.


•

Ensure compliance with all bid requirements, internal governance, and legal/financial standards.


•

Own and maintain the bids commercial risk register and ensure proper documentation of bid clarifications and assumptions.


•

Support the business team in strategic decisions related to bid selection, pricing, and project pursuit strategies.


•

Maintain bid tracking systems, manage key metrics, and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Qualifications & Experience:


•

Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.


•

Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing infrastructure bid/proposal functions, with 5+ years in a leadership capacity.


•

Proven success in EPC, O&M, and PPP bids, particularly in water/wastewater infrastructure.


•

Strong leadership, negotiation, and project management capabilities.


•

Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management tools, and bid documentation systems.
