Overview:

A creative event production company in Saudi Arabia is delivering a high-profile experiential installation as part of its expanding portfolio of immersive, design-led projects. The organization specializes in crafting detailed, emotionally engaging spaces that blend art, light, and technology.

To support upcoming on-site activations, the company is seeking experienced AV Technicians to provide hands-on technical execution across multiple event zones. 

This is a one-month on-site engagement opportunity for candidates with proven experience in audio-visual setup, event rigging, and show operations. 

The Role:
 

As an AV Technician, you will support the setup, calibration, and operation of audio-visual systems, lighting fixtures, and projection elements. You will work closely with the Technical Manager and Production team to ensure smooth show delivery and maintain technical integrity throughout rehearsals and live event operations. 

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and operate sound, lighting, and visual display systems.

  • Assist in the rigging, wiring, and testing of AV infrastructure and control systems.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during setup and show operation.

  • Support rehearsals and cue programming alongside the production team.

  • Maintain equipment cleanliness, storage, and inventory control on-site.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

  • Collaborate with other departments (power, scenic, logistics) to ensure seamless integration.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or certification in Audio/Visual Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • 2-4 years of experience in live events, exhibitions, or entertainment installations.

  • Strong technical understanding of lighting consoles, soundboards, and video playback systems.

  • Hands-on experience with cabling, patching, and equipment maintenance.

  • Ability to work long hours in fast-paced on-site environments.

  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with GrandMA, Resolume, or QLab systems. 

Previous experience in touring, festivals, or high-end corporate events. 

Salary:

Competitive salary - Contract based (Day or Month Rate)
