Maintenance Supervisor

We arelooking to employ a maintenance supervisor with an outstandingknowledge of building trades cleaning procedures and maintenance. Amaintenance supervisor is expected to have fantastic organizationaland time management skills. You will display natural leadership andpossess fantastic communication skills with a great eye fordetail.

Toensure success maintenance supervisors should display strongproblem solving and decisionmaking skills with a solidunderstanding of building maintenance repairs refurbishmentscleaning and managing staff. Top candidates will be fantastic atbuilding and equipment maintenance procedures and have extensiveknowledge of health and safety regulations andpractices.

DutiesandResponsibilities:
  • Inspectsites regularly to identify problems and necessarymaintenance.
  • Prepareweekly maintenance schedules and allocate work as per forecastedworkloads.
  • Employsupervise and trainworkers.
  • Coordinatedaily cleaning and maintenanceactivities.
  • Overseeall repairs and ensure that work is completed ontime.
  • Maintainall inventory and equipment and ensure properstorage.
  • Complywith all health and safety regulations and practices onsite.
  • Conductpreventative maintenancework.
  • Conductfollowups on all maintenance and repairwork.
  • Conductsafety inspections asscheduled.
  • Establishstrategies to meet workload demands ontime.


RequirementsRequirements:
  • Bachelorsdegree (highlyadvantageous).
  • 2years of experience as a maintenance supervisor(essential).
  • Strongknowledge of building trades cleaning procedures andmaintenance.
  • Solidunderstanding of health and safety regulations andpractices.
  • Effectivebudgeting and performancemanagement.
  • Fantasticorganizational and leadershipskills.
  • Greateye fordetail.
  • Excellentcommunication and interpersonalskills.
  • Workswell under pressure and meets tightdeadlines.
  • Computerliterate with capability in email MS Office and relatedcommunicationtools.
  • Greattime managementskills.
  • Strongdecisionmaking and problemsolvingskills.
