Your Role

The role of Sales Engineeris to promote PTS products and services to direct customers andsupport dealers when needed. The incumbent will be responsible forreaching PTS potential direct customers by using installed basedata and digital tools as per their aftermarket needs. The majorresponsibility of the Sales Engineer to increase market share andcustomer share.
This position reports to the RegionalBusiness Line Manager PTS and will be located in Khobar SaudiArabia.


Essentialjobfunctions


  • Effectivelysell and promote PTS products and services to direct customerswithin KSA.
  • Promote service as a business andsell more focused products (refurbishment overhauls extendedwarranty lubricants connectivity).
  • Beresponsible for and maintain direct PGAfile.
  • Collect market information and updateRegional Marketing team.
  • Focus on main regionssuch as the Eastern region but also being fully responsible forremote sites (e.g. Riyadh Jeddah).
  • Build andmaintain relationships with existing and future potentialcustomers.
  • Follow up market pricing andproviding competitive offerings with the support of Marketingteam.
  • Being responsible for lead generation andcreation of opportunities to be followedup.
  • Quotation preparation and follow up withcustomers in order to closedeals.
  • Use the CRM systemto execute all the above.
  • Maintain a strongrelationship and cooperation with the APE and PFL salesteams.
  • Work closely with the RSMM responsiblefor Saudi Arabia.
  • Prepare and provide monthlyreports to the manager and input for weeklyfollowups.
  • Work as a team player to ensure thatrequired results and outcomes are met.
  • Anyother duties as directed bymanagement.

Qualifications

Essential:
  • Universitydegree in related field (preferablyEngineering).
  • Willingness to grow in the salesfield.
  • Business / commercialbasics.
  • Computer knowledge MS office O365 (Word/ Excel / PPT / Power App).
  • Excellent commandof English and Arabic required both oral andwritten.
Preferred:
  • Engineeringand Sales background.
  • Technical Knowledge onmachinery and aftermarketneeds.

  • Ableto think strategically and solveproblems.
  • Selfmotivated and energetic with ahigh level of responsibility and loyalty.
  • Goodnegotiation skills and ability to influencecustomers.
  • Excellent communication skills andability to build relationships with people from alllevels.

  • Ability to plan organize and prioritizetasks and able to work under pressure.
  • Advancedcomputer skills.
  • Willingness totravel.
