Purpose/Key Accountabilities:

A leading Maritime company in the Oil & Gas industry is seeking a Surveyor. The person occupying the position will be responsible for offshore navigation & positioning tasks for the diving & construction operations. Geophysical survey, geotechnical survey, site survey, as-laid survey, as-built survey & Rout survey.

 

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Instrument care & handling.
  • Work effectively under time constraints.

Requirements

Education:

1.  Faculty of Engineering Geomatics or Civil.

2.  Faculty of Arts, maps & Surveys section.

3.  Through a qualification gained in military (normally navy) service or Navy technical colleges.

Experience:

  • Less than 5 years' relevant industrial experience. OR Without experience.

Competencies:

  • Physically fit for work at sea.
  • Tolerant of seasickness.
  • Team player.

Skills:

  • Good standard of written & spoken English.
  • Good standard of PC literacy.
