Electrical Inspector (Aramco Approved)

Purpose of Position


- The Inspector shall inspect and monitor Projects in relation to the Quality Assurance and Quality Control; escalate non-compliance and violation of scope, codes and standards; reviews Project Quality Documents and performs other tasks in relation of Projects Quality in area of his or her specialty.

- The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.

Major Responsibilities

- Proficient in diverse inspection methodologies, tools, and techniques crucial for assessing and to determine the quality.

- Possesses comprehensive technical expertise applicable across various electrical equipment like Transformers, cables, Motor Control Center (MCC), Switchgear Generators and Motors, Switchrack, Panel Board, cable trays, and Skid Mounted Electrical and Instrumentation Equipment.

- Comprehensive knowledge of local, national, and international electrical codes and standards (., NEC, IEC, IEEE). Ensuring that electrical installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

- Inspect, observe, and verify Equipment and related documentation in manufacturer/vendor/contractor premises in compliance with relevant codes/standards and customer requirements.

- Chairs Pre-Inspection Meetings (PIMs) collaborates with clients and manufacturers and finalizes Inspection Test Plans (ITP).

- Proficient in identifying and reporting non-conformities to clients, ensuring flawless releases of Inspected equipment, systems, and components.

- Produces comprehensive Inspection reports, Certificates, and Release Notes, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.

- Able to determine that there are no defective, non-conforming, and punch list items before the issuance of a Release Note of Inspected Equipment.

- Ensuring that electrical systems, components, and equipment comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

- Upholds confidentiality requirements and does not divulge any information to irrelevant parties without prior authorization.

- Versatile and flexible team player with good verbal and written Reporting and Communication skills and able to interact professionally with team members, clients and manufacturers' representatives, and other stakeholders.

- Adaptable and goal-oriented, excelling in fast-paced environments while consistently meeting deadlines, an individual who embodies a service-oriented mindset that prioritizes process improvement and fosters collaborative teamwork.

- Demonstrates a strong understanding of Agile practices and actively engages in professional development.

- Actively participates in knowledge sharing, showcasing a commitment to ongoing learning and collaboration.

- Ensures adherence to quality, HSE, and safety protocols, fostering a secure working environment.

- Adapts readily to evolving organizational requirements, actively participating in varied departmental tasks as necessary.


Qualification and Experience
- Graduate with minimum +8 years of Experience. Electrical / Electronic Engineering Degree / DAE would be advantage.
- Should have the experience in core sectors such as Oil & Gas/Power.



Skills & Qualities:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)

- Aramco Qualification: Aramco VID approval with SAP number in 8000XXXX series in the QM qualifications
