Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets across retail, dealers, government and ecommerce channels.
  • Manage a team of sales representatives, providing training, coaching, and mentoring to achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and suppliers in retail, dealers, government and ecommerce channels.
  • Deliver revenue growth and profitability for the showroom, taking full responsibility for the sales P&L.
  • Work with the Marketing team to develop effective promotional and advertising strategies across all channels.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity, adjusting sales strategies as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including customer interactions, sales leads, and sales results across all channels.
  • Ensure compliance with all rules, regulations and company policies.
  • Bachelor's degree in business management or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Sales management role in the marine industry with exposure to multiple channels including retail, dealers, government and ecommerce.
  • Mercury Marine brand experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of outboard and inboard engines and their components.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with P&L management.
