  • 1 Our client, a leading healthcare facility based in Saudi Arabia is currently looking for a Consultant Adult Psychiatrist Arabic Speaker.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following and not limited to:

  • Assessing and treating mental illnesses through a combination of psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, hospitalization, and medication.
  • 2. Assisting patients to help them find solutions through changes in their behavioral patterns, the exploration of their past experiences, or group and family therapy sessions.
  • 3. Conducting psychoanalysis sessions such as longterm psychotherapy and counseling for patients, as needed
  • 4. Prescribing medications to patients to correct chemical imbalances that cause emotional problems.
  • 5. Provides the full range of psychiatric diagnostic and treatment modalities to patients both inpatient and outpatient settings, sharing the workload with the other Psychiatrists within the Service.
  • 6. If (s)he has completed subspecialty residency training in child psychiatry, (s)he also provides outpatient and inpatient treatment to children and adolescents.
  • 7. Takes afterhours and weekend calls in rotation with other staff Psychiatrists.
  • 8. Responds to consultation requests from other services, received either directly or when oncall, by offering clinical advice or assuming full responsibility for the mental health care of the patient.

Requirements:

To be considered for this opportunity, you need to meet the following criteria:

  • A Doctor of Medicine
  • WESTERN Qualification
  • Completion of specialty qualification in the field of Psychiatry as per SCFHS requirements
  • Minimum 3 years experience Post Qualification
  • CCT or CCST or Irish Board or American Board or Canadian board or Australian Board.
Should be Bilingual - English and Arabic speaker.
