Job Summary:

Leads the E-commerce team to obtain optimal Brand development online. Responsible for leading the development and management of various online stores within our franchise retail network. This role will be instrumental in driving online sales and implementing omnichannel strategies to maximize revenue and profitability. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of e-commerce best practices, commercial understanding, and a proven track record of achieving KPIs in a retail environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Development of Online Stores
  • Lead the development and launch of new online stores within our franchise retail network, ensuring they are fully optimized for performance, user experience, and brand consistency.
  1. E-commerce Strategies
  • Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies to drive sales growth, increase market share, and enhance customer engagement across all online channels.
  • Develop and execute omnichannel strategies that seamlessly integrate online and offline retail experiences to provide customers with a unified shopping experience across all touchpoints.
  1. Performance and Sales
  • Drive performance and achieve sales targets for all online stores, leveraging data-driven insights and best practices to optimize conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention.
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including EBITDA, sales, lead times, conversion rates, and e-commerce costs, taking proactive measures to achieve or exceed targets.
  1. Integrations and Implementation
  • Lead integrations with IT systems and other implementations to ensure smooth operations, optimal performance, and scalability of e-commerce platforms.
  1. Vendor and Partner Management
  • Collaborate with external vendors and partners, including agencies, fulfillment centers, and technology providers, to ensure seamless integration, performance, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with brand partners, suppliers, banks, and ministries to facilitate collaboration, negotiate favorable terms, and drive mutual business objectives.
  • Manage development and maintenance with the development team.
  • Install and add applications to enhance performance and optimize the customer journey.
  • Drive and lead all conversations with brand partners and commercial teams to align strategies, leverage marketing assets, and maximize sales opportunities.
  1. Market Research and Improvements
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize e-commerce operations, processes, and technologies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies in e-commerce to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  1. Managerial Responsibilities
  • Set and oversee the implementation of the Function strategy and policies in line with the overall objectives, mission, and vision of the company.
  • Set, monitor, and allocate the Function budget in coordination with Finance.
  • Oversee and lead the performance evaluation of respective employees.
  • Ensure proper communication channels between the different departments and other related functions.
  • Lead and motivate own staff to ensure high morale and attainment of operational objectives.
  • Ensure the development of second and third lines within the department to ensure the readiness of successors.
  • Ensure employees have clear job objectives and challenging targets.
  • Ensure employees receive appropriate coaching, learning, and development.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's business conduct standards.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing of the department to ensure workload balance and high productivity.
  • Ensure appropriate compensation and rewards, motivate and recognize top performance based on actual.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field.

Experience and Skills:

  • Proven experience in e-commerce management roles, preferably within the retail industry, with a track record of achieving KPIs and driving sales growth.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, technologies, and best practices, with experience in managing multiple online stores simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to extract actionable insights and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective e-commerce strategies that align with business objectives and market trends.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage budgets, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relationship-building skills with the ability to foster partnerships and negotiate agreements with brand partners, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving performance, optimizing operations, and achieving measurable outcomes.
