Position Summary: A General Manager for TLS KSA legal technology business.

Position responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive growth for TLS in KSA and the region as a strategic adviser who understands legal, business and technology concepts.
  • Bring credibility through expertise, experience and contacts in KSA.
  • Work with all TLS clients (including GCs, firms and funders) to understand their problems/issues and develop solutions. In particular, consult on legal technology, eDisclosure, costs, data privacy, workflows, processes and any part of the legal process which technology can augment.
  • Facilitate growth as a cultural and subject matter expert for meetings, pitches, RFPs, conferences and other business generating activities. Research and ascertain market trends, pricing, horizon scanning, competitors.
  • Support technology teams to improve and develop TLS' technology offering particularly in response to issues pertinent in the KSA legal/data sphere.
  • Work with marketing teams to improve and develop marketing tools including, but not limited to blogs, articles, podcasts, videos, website, conferences etc.
  • Act as a bridge/interface between TLS' internal teams to improve our offering and facilitate TLS growth.
  • Travel domestically and regionally for conferences, pitches, meetings and other internal/client needs.
  • Complete all other tasks deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by manager/supervisor.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree and further qualification in legal, business and/or technology.
  • Arabic English bilingual
  • 5 years+ KSA experience. Contentious/regulatory/investigations experience preferred, working knowledge of technology. Previous work history should include consulting, legal or technology with a mixture of international and KSA experience.
  • Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable presenting and speaking to large groups of people.
  • Demonstrable problem solving skills, but also out of the box. A passion for solutions engineering in a commercial, legal and technology framework.
  • Eagerness and ability to learn and develop.
  • Well organised, reliable, proactive, driven, entrepreneurial and ambitious.
