List of Responsibility:

  • Provide technical support on accounting and tax matters to the team
  • Banking payments and treasury matters
  • Oversee and manage the company's accounting and tax functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement accounting procedures and internal controls to maintain the integrity of financial data and safeguard company assets.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, and provide analysis and explanations of variances.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns, including corporate income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax, and maintain uptodate knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities, facilitating audits and responding to inquiries and requests for information.
  • Provide guidance and support to the accounting team, overseeing daytoday operations, reviewing work for accuracy and completeness, and promoting professional development.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and changes in accounting and tax regulations, and proactively communicate updates and implications to relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead special adhoc assignments as per regulatory requirements (e.g. Tasneef Certification, Social Insurance Audits)
  • Ensure strict adherence to Airbus financial controls compliance and other regulatory framework.

Person Specification:

  • Have the ability, expertise, and demonstrable working experience of taxation in KSA together with accounting skills.
  • Hold an accounting degree and relevant experience in a multinational for no less than 5 years
  • Professional certifications such as for the chartered and professional accountancy d accountancy would be preferred.
  • Have experience in monthly financial reporting (for Group consolidation and for local management).
  • Have experience in finalizing annual tax returns.
  • Have experience in using the SAP ERP system.
