Archer - Business Development Manager - Sales
Identifies and develops new strategic opportunities with existing clients. Develops strong relationships with key customer contacts at all levels of the business to gain an understanding of key
business drivers that influence purchasing decisions.
Principal Responsibilities**:
- Manage the full sales cycle from inbound and outbound demand generation activities at C-Suite level, through to account signing and handover to the existing accounts team & professional services.
- Work in partnership with marketing to execute outbound initiatives and drive event and webinar attendance.
- Promptly and accurately respond to RFI & RFP activities.
- Rapidly qualify new business opportunities, validating.
- Executive sponsorship & Economic Buyer.
- Addressable Pains that can be resolved through Archer software
- Vision of software journey and phasing of implementation
- Value derived from use of integrated risk software and retirement of inadequate manual systems or silo'd point solutions.
- Identify and capitalize on reason to purchase software & compelling reason to act
- Define MAP (Mutually Agreeable Plan's) to collaborate in purchase of software to meet needs
- Work in partnership with solution engineers and professional services to meet new customer requirements.
- Collaborate and partner with resellers & partners such as Big4 and boutique service providers that enhance customer success and drive software adoption.
- Work with our legal team and manage the contracting process and SLA's.
- Participates in ongoing sales, business, and technical training courses to increase overall awareness of Archer solutions and gotomarket strategies.
Requirements:
- Able to negotiate standard contracts
- Understands our pricing model and develop vendor quotes (with the assistance of finance)
- Able to coordinate resources sales, product/service group, and operations to meet both vendor and customer needs
- Uses in depth knowledge of technology, products and services to help customers formulate strategy and direction
- Engages cross functional resources, regardless of geographic location, in order to achieve goal/ meet customer needs
Education and Experience:
- Typically requires 5+ years of related experience in a relationship selling role with field sales background
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
