Job Purpose


The Director of Quality ensures that the organization's activities and services are running in compliance with the company's quality requirements, in addition to complying with clients and regulatory requirements in term of quality system.

Quality Director is responsible for leadership, direction, management and the execution of Quality Management Systems Program for projects in various locations and sites.

He assures that the projects activities are complying with the applicable plans, codes, standards, specifications and construction practices, including the timely completion and collection of inspection and test reports as required.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineering with regards to specification driven quality requirements.
  • Establish and communicate project quality requirements to the project management team.
  • Develop and issue project specific quality requirements and an inspection and test matrix based on specifications, codes and jurisdictional requirements.
  • Responsible for coaching, training and mentoring field quality managers.
  • Responsible for recommendations, enhancements and changes to the AICC Quality Management System.
  • Confirm conditions adverse to quality are identified, documented, disposition and tracked through acceptance and closure.
  • Support the Corrective Action resolution process.
  • Proactively communicate quality opportunities with project sites that do not have daytoday onsite quality support, including issues or concerns to the project management team.
  • Support project sites in confirming quality metrics are consistently tracked and reported.
  • Support the development of project turnover packages and confirm they are populated and correspond to project activities.
  • Comply with all Safety & Health requirements and monitors construction activities to ensure adherence to Quality standards.
  • All other duties assigned.

Other Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Management.
  • Master's degree in quality or a relevant field of science (e.g., bioengineering degree for a bioengineering company) is preferred.
  • Strong communication, sales and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects.
