As a Country HCM Business Partner/Advisor, your role involves implementing the people strategy by offering and executing capabilities for the divisions in Saudi Arabia.
By working closely with business and HR stakeholders, your responsibilities include consulting, providing advice, and making recommendations on various Country HR activities such as Performance and Reward, Talent and Development programs, Industrial/Employee Relations, and other HR initiatives. Additionally, you will oversee HR Operations and governance within the country.
Key responsibilities:
  • Translate business requirements into HR solutions and effectively communicate them across the business partner area.
  • Ensure a cohesive people strategy that aligns with the business needs and upholds Deutsche Bank's Values and Beliefs.
  • Lead change management initiatives encompassing organization design/evolution/development, internal relocation & outsourcing, and restructuring.
  • Offer HR advisory services to the business, supervise HR Operations and governance (including regulatory aspects).
  • Collaborate with the Reward team to spot compensation trends in the business and local market, participate in compensation surveys, manage yearend compensation processes, and promotion panel procedures.
  • Manage and conduct Exit Interviews, providing feedback as needed (for a selected group of employees).
  • Support Global/Regional/Country HR Initiatives like Diversity & Inclusion.
  • Work with Employee Relations to provide counsel on Employee Relations matters, ensuring compliance with Deutsche Bank's best practices and legal requirements. Coordinate the country's learning and development events/initiatives.

Experience/Exposure:
  • Saudi Arabian national, in adherence to regulatory mandates
  • University graduate
  • Over 8 years of professional experience
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English, both spoken and written. Arabic serves as the primary language for communication with regulators and official bodies in HR.
  • Knowledge of Saudi labor law and Saudi Wage Protection System processes
  • Extensive HR Business Partner background, including familiarity with HR policies, products, and procedures
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience in operating within a complex, multicultural matrix organization
  • Ability to work independently and objectively to achieve the best people outcomes for the franchise
  • Preference for a background in banking & finance industry, with demonstrated business acumen and commercial understanding
  • Proficient in presenting to management groups, capable of creating concise presentations with research and inquiry capabilities
  • Skill in partnering with new and existing HR vendors, and structuring contractual agreements accordingly
