The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing the procurement process from start to finish, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies, in line with the company's objectives and budget.
  2. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conducting thorough market research to ensure the best value for money.
  3. Negotiate contracts and terms of agreement with suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  4. Oversee the procurement process, including requesting and reviewing quotations, issuing purchase orders, and managing delivery schedules.
  5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide guidance on procurement best practices.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities, ensuring compliance with internal audit requirements.
  7. Monitor supplier performance, conducting regular reviews and addressing any issues or concerns.
  8. Stay informed about market trends and industry developments, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  9. Manage relationships with key suppliers, fostering strong partnerships and resolving any disputes or conflicts.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement.
  3. Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures.
  4. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  5. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  6. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions, while also collaborating effectively with a team.
  7. Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
  8. Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  10. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
