WATTS Water industries FZE is looking for an organized and goal-oriented BDM responsible for the development, implementation, and management of WATTS business in the region which includes setting strategies, selling to and educating customers about WATTS product portfolio, facilities, and services


In addition, serve as the primary point of contact for internal/external stakeholders, including customers, consultants, contractors, Distributors, Leadership, local government, and the industry.

This position will require high energy, and a proven ability to grow Business.

The Business Development Manager can be required to travel throughout their assigned territory.

Account Management:

  • Actively manage and develop all customers within an agreed portfolio
  • Develop and sustain a solid relationship between WATTS and its customers
  • Deal with all customer queries quickly, efficiently and costeffectively
  • Ensure customer service and customer expectations are exceeded
  • Sustain rapport with key growth accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities
  • Build relationships by meeting with senior executives to discuss their business issues & present best practice solutions.

New Business Development:

  • Identify and follow up on inquiries and sales leads with new and existing Key Accounts
  • Growing the given portfolio through proactive prospecting through activities such as market research, networking, and lead generation
  • Updating the management team on topics such as industry trends, area performance, competitor activity, lost jobs, revenue and utilization
  • Conducting customer sales visits with new and existing customers with the goal of securing or retaining business

Targets:

  • Achieving all revenue and KPI (Key Performance Indicators) targets to include:
year-on-year revenue growth

Redevelopment of dormant accounts to agreed percentage

Retention of existing active customer base within an agreed percentage

Reporting & Information Systems:

  • Ensure the CRM system is routinely updated with information such as customer visits, quotes, forecasts
  • Assist with the production of sales activity, market, and competitor analysis reports

Consultants Activities:

  • Summarize all the active consultants in the region
  • Work with main consultants to make sure that WATTS name in the specs
  • Arrange with the Marketing team for Events to develop the relationship with main accounts & consultants
Working with the Sales team to make sure that WATTS is an approved brand in flow control & drainage.
