Operations Manager, Warehousing, Solutions


Adecco are proud to be partnering with a global leader in transport and logistics services, offering solutions for various industries and regions to help find the best Operations Manager, Warehousing, Solutions.

This role is for a permanent placement based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Job Summary:

You will direct the Warehouse Operations and execute warehousing management solutions that cater to the project requirements, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of warehouse operations processes, costing, and optimization of warehousing facilities.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the organization solutions operations, by understanding requirements into a functional program and provide strategic leadership for the implementation and execution of a highly competent solutions operations.
  • Manage and analyze operational budget and expenses with full P&L accountability for all operations and strive to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Oversee and approve all internal Service Level Agreement (SLA) between Solutions and other departments
  • Set and achieve business unit financial and operational goals; establish and oversee the implementation of KPI's
  • Manage training and development programs, recruitment, and performance management of employees within the business unit
  • Drive the Warehouse Management System implementation and upgrades
  • Oversee the implementation of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) and Security standards within the warehouse operations/facilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the leadership, serving as strategic advisor and trusted counsel.
  • Provide sharp and regular updates on operational performance and advise how best to achieve performance goals and results consistently
  • Assure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and are compliant with laws and regulations
  • Ensure the assessment, monitoring and management of the principal risks of the organization

Qualifications:

  • 15 years of Warehousing/Supply chain operations experience, 10 of which is at a country Management level
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field, higher studies would be an added advantage
  • Demonstrated experience in integrating and coordinating diverse areas of logistics management
  • Able to deal effectively in demanding situations, to manage continuity, change and transition
  • Experience in community relations, governance, and P&L management
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Results oriented and goal driven
  • Strategic mindset, action oriented and innovative
