ABOUT OUR TRANSFORMATION OF INDUSTRY BUSINESS


As a Senior Commercial Project Manager for the Steam Turbines & Generator Region Middle East business you will be the commercial counterpart to the technical Heads of Projects and Service Operations of STG RME.

As a "primus inter pares" amongst the CPMs of STG RME, you will support the Head of Finance STG ME in leading and developing a team of currently 6 CPMs in the countries.

Your role offers great development opportunities, as you will get responsibility as a commercial team lead and Management visibility throughout your job.

Your Profile

  • University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commercial discipline from recognized finance or accounting body is desirable.
  • At least 10 Years' experience in commercial projects management, particularly in POC projects.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, SAP (Project/CO) and other relevant IT tools.
  • Expert handson experience of modeling in Excel and visualization / presentation of data in Power Point.
  • Commercial project managementcertification is preferrable.
  • Excellent communication skills in English. Arabic is desirable.
  • Analytical thinking as well thinking outofthebox.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, strong networking, negotiating, and influencing skills.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and to manage workloads in an effective manner with mínimal direct supervision and flexibility in managing multiple and diverse tasks.
  • Ability to handle day to day Project related issues independently.
  • Effective problemsolving skills and ability to work under pressure in time critical situations.
  • Sensitive and responsive to the needs of different religious, ethnic, tribal, and cultural groups.
  • Proven integrity and high personal standards of behavior.
  • Experience in working in a multinational and multicultural environment, as well as proven interpersonal skills and ability to successfully engage with diverse audiences.

Your Responsibilities

  • Successful execution of the full scope of financial and commercial activities in accordance with Siemens Energy Project Excellence standards and Financial Reporting Guidelines, with high accuracy and focus on forecast quality.
  • Support the Finance Head of STG RME in leading and developing the regional CPM team.
  • Ability to handle and manage multiple projects other transactional business.
  • Managing, monitoring and optimizing targeted financial results with due professional care (e.g., project gross profit, cash flow, assets and financing instruments)
  • Monitoring, controlling and reporting of Project costs, assets, liabilities and cashflow for multiple projects.
  • Identifying, and signaling deviations, managing risks and opportunities, proposing corrective measures
  • Preparation, handling and monitoring of Projects forecasts and reflect them in the respective tools jointly with project team.
  • Issuance and timely submission of Project billing as specified in customer contract and regulations.
  • Providing information and commercial/financial reports necessary for project review, indicating deviations, recommending, and accompanying the action plans to be implemented
  • Contribution to the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process.
  • Prepare documents monthly Project Review Meetings, assigned action items and monitor the progress.
  • Prepare and keep auditable documentation for Project.
  • Proactively identification of Risks and taking necessary measures to mitigate these identified risks.
