Provides HR input to the development of business strategy across the region.

  • Works in partnership with business partners to support management to identify the people's implications of strategic and business growth plans across defined organisational areas.
  • Provides formal line management to a smallmediumsized Advisory unit, involved in providing expertise, advice and specialist support. Team members are geographically dispersed.
  • Manage the relationship with the business stakeholders and develop an indepth knowledge of the business by understanding its financial position, short, midrange and longterm plans and the culture being driven. Influence other HR colleagues to align and enhance integrated services that would achieve the business goals/vision.
  • Manage the relationship with relevant Centres of Expertise resources to ensure consistent use of frameworks and processes.
  • Applies advanced HR functional knowledge to solve a range of complex business issues across the region
  • Devises nonstandard and/or analytical approaches to understand complex problems and enable informed businessplanning, decisionmaking and/or the development of new or improved policies and practice during this time of change.
  • Deploys a range of specialist HR or bespoke approaches relevant to support the provision of highquality services and advice
  • Provides expert professional advice, support and challenge to internal customers and other stakeholders to support the development of high quality, effective and continuously improving business practices within HR.
  • Leads negotiations and management of any reviews of terms and conditions of work for locally engaged staff and provides advice to Country Directors on a range of issues in their dealings with local staff representatives.
  • Leads the HR Advisory function on countryspecific consultations across the region to support the businesses through Organisational Development programmes
  • Provides regional support, with Employee Relations Lead, to the businesses and Centres of Expertise in managing complex casework and oversight and monitoring of all discipline and conduct related issues, ensuring compliance, compiling regular reports and analysis.
  • Actively champions and monitors staff compliance with the agreed corporate policies and practices relevant to their area of functional expertise. Investigates reasons for noncompliance.
  • Act as company representative in country or site, both towards internal stakeholders (such as the Country Management Team, senior managers, employees and employee representatives) and external entities (such as government, universities, court), in order to provide truthful guidance on people matters
  • Liaison with People Experience team to ensure coordination of HR Consultants / the HR community in the country or site and gain their support to the line managers, both according to the procedures, as well as in line with the business demands, in order to guarantee similar support and impact among all employees
  • Promote and monitor HR projects within the country or site (e.g., employees' engagement strategy for the country, employees' benefits package, culture and values), in order to contribute for leveraging employees' engagement and the branding of the company within the country or site
  • May serve as point of contact to labor and government regulatory agencies
  • Leading Area/BU Regional HR Team and taking care of all people leadership and management responsibilities, expressing, driving and promoting company's culture and values

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • An MBA Holder.
  • 8+ years Country HR / HR Business Partner or equivalent experience ideally within a fastpaced global organization
  • At least 5 years in a managerial position.
  • Assertiveness, interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build positive relationships with multiple stakeholders with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Credibility and recognition of ethical behavior's
  • Analytical and fast decisionmaking skills
  • Adaptation and flexibility to act in a changing and complex environment, with a multitasking mindset
  • Extensive depth of expertise and knowledge in specialized areas.
  • A thorough understanding of specific aspects of work supervised.
