Instrument Business Development Manager
We are looking for a highly motivated sales professional to join our Western Region (Saudi & Bahrain) sales team.

As
Instrument Business Sales Manager , you will sell, promote, and demonstrate the
Fisher and other Flow Control Instruments such as Digital Valve Controllers.

This position reports to the Regional Sales Director for the West Region.

Your job will offer outstanding perspectives and insights into how customers view their business and align their insights and priorities, while tying those insights back to Emerson outstanding product differentiators.


In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Meet or Exceed Annual business goals and targets.

Responsible for orders, POR, and sales volume growth in the western region territory for IBU, & Digital Valve Experience (DVx)

Working with Sales team to support their goals.

Develop and complete plans for growth of IBU, DVx, and Digital Valve Services. Understand market through sales insight, market research and competitive analysis.


Prepare implementation plans to drive traditional analogue positioners and competitive P/P + I/P replacement with Digital Instrumentation Technologies to drive growth.

Build penetration plans for all FCV Digitalization technology & solutions.

Collaborate and lead plans to support local Emerson sales & business partner across the mentioned territory.

Build support structure for FIELDVUE Champions in providing technical support on daily activities, warranty & non-warranty evaluation, and liaison with FCV Instrument Technical Support team.


Keep up to date with developments and trends in IBU & DVx new products, industries, and market conditions, and share with MEA IBU lead for further HQ review, to understand local needs.

Participate in XBU Initiatives pertaining to marketing events / seminars, exhibitions, device integration, product display, etc.

Work closely with Final Control team for assistance towards "valve operating system" for instrumentation needs. Support during bids and order execution phase to ensure full customer happiness.


Support project pursuit team for entity project activities (FEED & Awarded) in their endeavor to get technology leads and provide differentiation using FIELDVUE and DVx solutions, through local EPC and end users.

Support Sales team with Site Walkdowns and other sales activities as partner.

Provide monthly reports and business opportunities to ISG (Industry Solutions Group) and Regional Sales leader

Develop and implement product and solution strategies in-line with FCV MEA regional plans.

Follow up and support closing of both entity as well as destination orders

Who you are:

  • Good understanding of Upstream Oil and Gas, Petrochemical and Power process including:
  • Automation integration into Process Control Systems
  • Strong business skills & commercial awareness

For this Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering or closely related field
  • Proficient in English Language-Written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of control valve experience and Sales experience.
  • Successful completion of CFSE or CFSP training and/or certification is an added advantage
  • Arabic Speaking shall be added advantage.
