Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation:
- Develop detailed cost estimates for facility operations and capital projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expenses.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Use estimation software and tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the estimation process.
- Project Planning and Management:
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to review and understand project requirements and objectives.
- Perform site visits to assess project scope, gather necessary data, and verify existing conditions.
- Prepare and present cost estimates and reports to senior management and stakeholders for decision-making and budgeting purposes.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Track and analyze project costs to ensure alignment with budget estimates and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including change orders, progress reports, and cost tracking logs.

- Stay updated on industry trends, materials costs, and technological advancements to improve estimation practices.
- Contribute to process improvements and the development of new tools and methodologies for cost estimation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost estimation for facility projects, preferably in industrial or commercial environments.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are preferred.
