Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Estimator to join our team at Perfect Vision. As a Cost Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing project requirements and developing accurate cost estimates for low current electronic devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze project requirements, technical specifications, and drawings to develop accurate cost estimates
  • Gather and evaluate data on material costs, labor rates, equipment expenses, and other project-related expenditures
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, including itemized breakdowns of direct and indirect costs, for each phase of the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to validate cost assumptions and identify potential cost-saving opportunities
  • Develop and maintain cost estimation models and databases to improve the accuracy and consistency of future cost projections
  • Participate in project planning and budgeting discussions, providing input on the financial feasibility and viability of proposed solutions
  • Monitor project costs throughout the execution phase and provide regular updates on budget variances and trends
  • Identify and analyze cost drivers, risks, and uncertainties, and recommend mitigation strategies to the project management team
  • Prepare comprehensive cost reports, proposals, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Stay informed of market trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes that may impact the cost of low current electronic devices
  • Provide technical support and cost-related expertise during the bidding and contract negotiation process
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field
  • Professional certifications in cost estimation, project management, or supply chain management (e.g., AACE, PMP, CSCP)
  • Arabic / English - Speaking / Writing
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in cost estimation and project cost management, specifically in the low current electronic device industry
  • Proven track record of developing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for complex projects
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, procurement processes, and contract management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate financial risks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple cost estimation tasks and deliverables
  • Adaptability and flexibility to respond to changing project requirements and market conditions
  • Ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
  • Proficient in the use of cost estimation software, spreadsheet applications, and project management tools
  • Thorough understanding of cost estimation techniques, including parametric, analogous, and bottom-up approaches
  • Knowledge of procurement practices, supply chain management, and contract negotiation strategies
  • Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to low current electronic devices
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and other project documentation
