Description Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic Project and Development Services team in Riyadh.

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and managing the progress and coordination of a package or individual project.


Assist in the development of the client brief and Project Execution Plans to understand the specific requirements of each project.

Collaborate with teams to interface with internal and external design teams to develop design solutions that meet the client's expectations and budget.

Negotiate the local government approvals process.

Assist in the administration of complex building contracts, proactively ensuring compliance of contractors and consultants with contract terms and conditions.

Compile tender documents and critically review tender returns, participate in contract negotiations, and support the award of contracts, providing valuable insight and guidance to clients based on experience.

Ensure project documentation, programs, master budgets, etc. are up to date and readily available to the team.
Write and produce content for reports that correspond to the relevant stages of each project for the client.

Successfully deliver projects while adhering to the specified risk, sustainability, and environmental considerations established during the business case and client brief stages, and maintain focus on time, cost, and quality.

Review and report on the contractor's progress against the contract program.
Collaborate with external consultant teams and internal design managers to ensure design compliance with the contract.
Work with consultant teams to ensure the built product is compliant with the contract.
Perform other duties as required, providing support to team members across disciplines and the wider division.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proven experience in project management and coordination.
Familiarity with local government approvals processes.
Knowledge of complex building contracts and contract administration.
Ability to critically review tender documents and provide valuable insight.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Knowledge of risk, sustainability, and environmental considerations in construction projects.
Familiarity with design compliance and quality assurance processes.
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
