Job Summary:


The Senior Specialist, Interface, is responsible for managing and coordinating interface activities between different systems, departments, or organizations within an enterprise.

This role involves analyzing requirements, designing and implementing integration solutions, and ensuring smooth data and process flows across interfaces.

The Senior Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure effective communication and collaboration, and to drive continuous improvement in interface management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze interface requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to define integration objectives, scope, and priorities.
  • Design and implement interface solutions, including data mappings, transformation rules, and integration workflows, to ensure seamless connectivity and interoperability between systems.
  • Coordinate and manage interface projects, including planning, resource allocation, and monitoring progress to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and partners to establish and maintain effective communication and alignment on interface requirements, specifications, and timelines.
  • Conduct interface testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of interface solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve interface issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to minimize disruption to operations and maximize data integrity.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to interface specifications, design documents, test plans, and user guides to ensure accurate and comprehensive knowledge sharing.
  • Establish and enforce interface governance and best practices, including standards, processes, and guidelines, to ensure consistency, quality, and security across interfaces.
  • Monitor and analyze interface performance metrics, such as data throughput, response times, and error rates, and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure data privacy, confidentiality, and compliance with industry regulations and standards in interface management.
  • Provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to crossfunctional teams and stakeholders involved in interfacerelated activities.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in interface management, and propose innovative solutions to enhance integration capabilities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in interface management, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer activities to enhance the understanding and capabilities of teams involved in interface management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Min 5 years of experience in interface management, integration, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of interface technologies, protocols, and standards, such as APIs, web services, ETL tools, XML, JSON, and RESTful
