As a Pre-Sales Manager for Cybersecurity, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales of our cybersecurity solutions. You will work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, provide technical expertise, and present tailored cybersecurity solutions that address the specific needs of our clients. Your role is crucial in bridging the gap between the technical aspects of our products and the client's business requirements, ensuring successful sales engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of RNS Technology's cybersecurity solutions, including but not limited to threat intelligence, network security, endpoint protection, cloud security, and compliance management. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive products, and advancements in cybersecurity to provide informed recommendations to clients.
- Pre-Sales Engagement: Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and propose appropriate cybersecurity solutions. Lead technical discussions with potential clients, demonstrating the value of RNS Technology's solutions through presentations, demos, and proofs of concept (PoCs). Assist in the preparation of RFP/RFI responses by providing detailed technical and solution-oriented content.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their cybersecurity needs. Gather and analyze client feedback to inform product development and improvement.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for proposed solutions, including technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and implementation guides. Support the sales team in drafting and reviewing contracts, proposals, and pricing strategies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, engineering, and marketing teams to align solutions with market demands and customer requirements. Provide feedback to the product teams regarding customer needs and emerging trends.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM) are highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pre-sales, solutions architect, or technical consulting role within the cybersecurity industry. Proven track record of successfully supporting sales teams and closing deals in a cybersecurity-focused environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices. Proficiency in various cybersecurity solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDPS), SIEM, endpoint protection, and cloud security platforms. Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
