We are currently seeking a PR Manager to join our communications team. The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively managing activity with media and influencers that drives understanding and excitement around iPhone, iOS, and other LoBs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role will focus on launching new products, increasing awareness of existing products and features, and broadening relationships with media and influencers on established and emerging platforms, as well as providing local market insights to the CEMEA regional hub.

The successful candidate will bring energy, ideas, and an appetite to bring fresh storytelling ideas to fruition. You will be excited by iPhone as a camera for the world's most innovative photographers and filmmakers, as a mobile studio for music producers using software like GarageBand, for social content creators on Snapchat, TikTok, or for citizen journalists in urban centers. You will have more than an ear to the ground: you will be immersed in the Apple-enabled culture of photographers, producers, content creators, influencers, and media.

This role will report into the CEMEA PR Lead. You will work in partnership to create strategies and deliver campaigns that increase awareness and understanding of products and their software. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a variety of other teams and functions to create and deliver the activity that increases awareness and understanding. This includes the other PR team, Product Marketing, and Marcom teams.

You will help us to build new relationships amongst the talent and communities that use our products to deliver the world's most exciting work and will be tasked with leading our efforts in finding new media and social platforms through which we can tell those stories. You will be responsible for providing local insights into media and social trends in Saudi, which will help us to shape our strategy, connect locally, and deliver hyper-local execution of market plans.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Significant experience in public relations and influencer relations. This might include roles in PR agencies or corporate PR departments.
  • Effectively builds formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization.
  • Develops and delivers effective communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Analyzes complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
  • Understands internal and external stakeholder requirements, expectations, and needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in media relations with an established network of media contacts in creative, tech, design, and cultural platforms.
  • Successfully delivered creative PR campaigns that have created meaningful impact.
  • Self-motivated, possess a positive team-player attitude, and are passionate about consumer technology. Self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities.
  • Able to work with ambiguity and on complex topics across multiple jurisdictions. Skilled in multi-tasking, delivering under tight timelines, adapting quickly to change.
