Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing

Location: Fraser Suites Riyadh

Reports To: General Manager & Group Director of Sales & Marketing

Role Overview:

Lead the sales and marketing team to drive revenue, enhance brand awareness, and optimize customer engagement in line with the hotel's business strategy.

  • Develop and execute annual business plans with clear sales targets for corporate, extended stay, leisure, and MICE clients.
  • Oversee key accounts, fostering strong business relationships.
  • Implement effective channel and revenue management strategies.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments.
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, sales calls, and marketing events.

Marketing & Brand Development:

  • Drive promotional campaigns across digital, print, and B2B channels.
  • Ensure all branding and marketing materials align with Frasers Hospitality guidelines.
  • Manage public relations efforts, securing media coverage and industry recognition.
  • Collaborate with regional teams on strategic sales initiatives.

Financial & Budgeting:

  • Prepare and manage the annual sales & marketing budget.
  • Control expenses and optimize revenue across all income streams.
  • Track performance metrics and provide regular sales reports.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet revenue goals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training needs.
  • Foster a positive, high-performance culture within the department.

Operations & Strategy Execution:

  • Align sales strategies with business objectives and adjust as needed.
  • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders, including regional sales teams.
  • Identify new business opportunities and partnership collaborations.
  • Implement customer recognition programs to enhance guest experience.

Key Performance Metrics:

  • Increase RevPAR & market share in the competitive set.
  • Strengthen brand positioning and guest engagement.
  • Maintain cost control while driving high-value outcomes.
  • Develop a high-performing sales team through leadership and training.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years as a Director of Sales & Marketing in an internationally branded luxury hotel/serviced residence in KSA.
  • Proven track record in sales leadership, revenue optimization, and strategic marketing.
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • High proficiency in English (written & spoken); confident presenter and communicator.
  • Ability to adapt to market trends, innovate, and drive results.
  • Hands-on leader with a customer-first approach and a high level of professionalism.
