**Your tasks and responsibilities**
- You will be a trusted advisor to the Siemens Healthineers KSA with respect to legal matters.
- You will contribute to the strategy and implementation of the Siemens Healthineers business in KSA while also assisting in the mitigation of legal and commercial risks.
- You will implement and perform key legal processes such as drafting, negotiating and settling commercial agreements, risk assessment and approval processes and where appropriate liaising and working collaboratively with other members of Siemens Healthineers global Legal function (including the MESA Zone).
- You will provide legal advice/corporate secretarial work, including corporate documentation, board resolutions, appointment and dismissal of board members in close cooperation with shareholder controlling functions, alignment with local shareholder representatives and the amendment and renewal of corporate licenses.
- You will provide legal advice to Siemens Healthineers core business areas including Diagnostic Imaging, Customer Services, Digital Services and Enterprise Services. In particular, with regard to Enterprise Service projects (including PPP) provide legal support to a growing pipeline of complex projects both in KSA and the wider MESA region. Future growth and development opportunities may also include responsibility for providing legal support to Varian Medical Systems KSA, a recently acquired radiation and oncology equipment and service provider.
- You will manage, with the support of external legal counsel, a varied workload of litigation matters.
- You will provide training and education to the business on relevant laws and business legal issues including where applicable working with the Compliance function on relevant topics.
- You will inform the Head of Legal (KSA) and the Country management of areas which represent a legal or reputational risk and work collaboratively with other key stakeholders including the Head of Legal & Compliance Zone MESA and the General Counsel EMEA-East (Europe, Middle East and Africa).
- You will be comfortable as a challenger to the management and to the business when appropriate.
- You will live core values such as integrity, respect and reliability, and the Healthineers principles.
- You will be ready to travel on occasion within Saudi Arabia but also other MESA countries.
**Your qualifications and experience**
- Fully qualified lawyer and Saudi National with excellent academic credentials.
- Minimum of 3-7 years PQE either in a reputable law firm or as in-house legal counsel in multinational company.
- Relevant work experience in the Healthcare
- and/or life science/ pharma sector with strong focus on contract law for supply and service transactions, distributorship agreements, public procurement (i.e responses to RFPs) as well as collaboration and research agreements is highly regarded.
- Previous experience in complex project business, PPP and/or outsourcing agreements is strongly preferred but by no means a pre-requisite.
- Broad knowledge of Saudi corporate, procurement, litigation, competition/Anti-Trust, employment/labor and (forthcoming) data privacy laws.
- Experience in effectively managing external counsel is preferred.
