About the job:
The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Telco Key Account Manager to join us in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will work in our global telco industry vertical to build new commercial relationships and expand business with existing customers. You’ll help Red Hat continue to grow our innovative offerings each year by using your combination of customer-facing skills and deep sales knowledge. As a Key Account Manager, you will also maintain crucial partnerships and carry out our vision.

What you will do:
- Translate Red Hat’s sales strategy into a relevant account-level strategy within the telco industry vertical- Carry out the account strategy to improve performance and ensure customer success in key accounts, retaining and growing bookings through strategic account planning-
- Orchestrate solutions architects, specialist teams, Customer Success, and industry experts to align Red Hat’s use cases with customer needs, guiding end-to-end sales to develop solutions that deliver business value- Coordinate support from specialist solutions architects, sales solutions specialists, and industry experts to guide end-to-end sales and deliver customer value- Cultivate relationships across customer organizations to position Red Hat as a strategic partner to their business- Collaborate with the Customer Success team to codevelop success and growth plans, understanding how the customer derives value from Red Hat’s solutions to support expansion and retention and ensure that Red Hat meets or exceeds customer success criteria- Quote appropriate customer prices- Meet assigned sales quotas

What you will bring:
- Saudi National (mandatory)- 8+ years of experience selling software solutions to the telco industry vertical; understanding of the companies and opportunities that exist within this market segment- Experience in leading a large cross functional team consisting of architects, consultants, business development managers, and inside sales associates- Experience and a network in the infrastructure market of the IT industry, including technologies like operating systems, middleware, virtualization, cloud, and system management- Solid understanding of market dynamics, including customer needs, processes, offerings, and competition- Experience in the telco and IT industries- Excellent communication and technical skills for developing relationships at engineering, commercial, and executive levels throughout various organizations- Record of selling complex solutions to large organizations and multiple decision makers- Ability to work as part of a team while demonstrating flexibility and initiative- Willingness to travel across the region, following Red Hat’s COVID-19 guidelines- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
